Throughout the years I have grown into a creative, cosmopolitan, open-minded, and entrepreneurial person.

In my youth, my desire to improve various situations and circumstances was purely instinctive so my tenacity, resilience, ambition, and goal-oriented actions were entirely subconscious character traits on which I have built on and developed successfully over the years.

In the course of time, these traits have become a conscious part of my personality, and they still characterise me today. Combined with my ambitions, I became a person who thrives towards high quality standards and perfection.

I was raised as an imaginative and creative person and since childhood I have acted and thought outside the box. Through my different interests, activities, and occupations, I am now able to use my knowledge and experience to act effectively, instinctively, and valuably. As a positive, generous, and proactive person with a constant interest in business development, I strive to maintain constructive relationships with business partners, service providers, clients, and colleagues.

Thanks to the various international experiences and influences I have been exposed to from an early age, I have developed a strong language affinity. This can be used and combined easily in various situations. With these means at my disposal I seek, develop, and find new possibilities and ways to achieve goals and targets.

Abroad experiences are always enriching and perhaps even more when done at a young age as in my case. Especially in young years, such experiences can influence, shape, and form some fundamental character traits. Due to various circumstances, it was particularly necessary for me to approach new situations with an open mind, especially in my international experiences. As a result, I became extroverted, evaluative, fearless, reflective, and optimistic at a young age. My energetic, freedom-loving, flexible and inquisitive attitude was crucial for me to free myself from prejudices and to approach situations, people, and cultures with an open mind.

In order to adapt without losing myself, a certain degree of self-protection, self-confidence, selfishness and empathy has always been necessary. This openness to new situations, to the world, towards people and the unknown continues to be one of my core values.

As a person born and raised with German and Italian culture, I have always been and am constantly confronted with two similar and yet different cultures. This allows me to combine and adapt the nuances of both cultures and to use these capabilities depending on the situations. All my stays abroad have allowed me to get in touch with various cultures and, in some cases, to live them to some extent. These experiences have also helped me to approach the world with an even more open, respectful, honest, and tolerant attitude.

During the years, I have learned to find a balance to preserve my traditions and myself while adapting to different surrounding. In doing so, I have strengthened my people orientation, team spirit and sense of responsibility. Therefore, it is easy for me to work and to adapt in international environments.

From an early age I have been thinking big and I was and still am able to make the best of circumstances. Over time, I have become accustomed to strategic and goal-oriented actions. A self-critical, responsible, somewhat idealistic, observant, and analytical mindset has developed through the various circumstances. With the gained experience my willingness to take risks has decreased: It is important to recognise certain limits.

As an ambitious person my ROI-oriented approach has become stronger and I have discovered the ability to structure, implement and execute. As a result, I have learned to always keep a bird’s eye view, keep the course and the focus on the goal. Instinctively and due to my experiences, I am able to lead, manage, and coordinate. My constant drive, ambition and need for further development helps me to expand my knowledge, character, and entrepreneurial values.

Role Models

Already as a young boy, I dreamed of a carrier as an international businessman. At that time my professional role models were George Soros, Roland Berger, and Enrico Mattei.

In my eyes at that time, George Soros represented economic success through long-term strategic thinking and approach.

Roland Berger impressed and inspired me especially by his entrepreneurship, business development affinity, the ability to exploit opportunities and his pioneering attitude.

Another role model for me still is the controversial manager and businessman Enrico Mattei, who made a decisive contribution to Italian history as a self-made man.  I find particularly inspiring his constant drive for long-term growth through old and new approaches, his resilience, and his think-big mind-set.
